What you'll do?

As The Maintenance Manager You Will

• Provide leadership and direction to the plant maintenance department responsible for the site asset care, maintenance & process optimization, project identification, capital planning and energy management on site.
• Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation to ensure continuous production operations.
• Eliminate all causes of failure and ensure full useful equipment life in coordination with daily maintenance completed by operating personnel.
• Troubleshoot plant equipment including evaporators, pasteurizers, an ultrafilter, a microfilter, plate and frame filter presses and a spray dryer.
• Review production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities
• Create and manage the maintenance and stores budgets.
• Manage the buildings and grounds such that good manufacturing practices (GMPs) are adhered to and a professional appearance is maintained.
• Install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect the automation control and communications systems (PLC's).
• Ensure all quality and regulatory standards, specifications and policies are met or exceeded.
• Schedule mandatory inspections, coordinate certifications from appropriate authorities, and ensure environmental compliance.
• Direct hourly maintenance associates in their roles and responsibilities to meet plant objectives in safety, quality, cost, and customer service.
• Execute plant-specific vision and mission to assure continuous improvement and alignment with the corporate vision.

What you'll need to be successful?

• A degree in Mechanical Technology or Engineering or other technical discipline from an accredited institution is preferred, or equivalent training and experience.
• 5+ total years maintenance engineering field in a manufacturing environment in Food and/ or Pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience in project management execution, budget planning and managing, and TPM and/ or lean initiatives.
• Strong computer application skills, with the ability to work with network and PC business application software.
• Good understanding or mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with predictive/preventive maintenance programs.
• Demonstrated ability to: be a team and people developer, work in a changing and multi-task environment and cascade the vision of the organization as an inspiring leader.
