Location: Beckett, NJ
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 + Bonus
Description: Large food manufacturing company in southern NJ is looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor.
Candidates MUST have experience in hi-speed manufacturing company and hands-on maintenance leadership (food industry preferred)
Minor relocation assistance is available for candidates within a few hours of the plant.
Description The Plant Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining equipment within the processing plant and distribution center to a safe, high efficiency and quality level and contributes to the sites overall strategic direction • This position supervises facility mechanics to ensure work is complete accurately and timely and that emergency repairs and safety related work is addressed with high importance • This role will conduct preventative electrical maintenance on equipment, ensure the proper stock of parts, and works with the Master Scheduler on parts inventory
Responsibilities • Train new facility mechanics on equipment, processes, and procedures • Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the method and sequence of assembly off a part, machine, or piece of equipment • Inspect electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers • Perform electrical maintenance on facility equipment as needed • Maintain equipment ensuring high quality production efficiency • Ensure all work orders are completed on time
Qualifications • 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience • Experience working on food processing equipment • Experience with motors, drives, and cutting machines required • Ability to work overtime, as warranted by business needs • Ability to put together electrical and electronic systems and prototypes • Able to adjust and replace defective circuitry and electronic component • Ability to train and coordinate activities of Mechanics on all shifts as necessary
