3M is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Stafford Springs, Connecticut. This position is Full time 3rd Shift .
Job Description:
Our products are critical to the development of life saving therapies, treatments, and vaccines. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll make an impact by supporting the delivery of vital products to our biopharma customers.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance of all plant systems, which includes processing, packing, warehouse, and facility operations.
Learning, troubleshooting, and repairing of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Provides excellent customer service for and maintains communications with internal customers
May require handling hazardous materials and/or waste
Work in a team or autonomously to complete work orders and provide maintenance support in a variety of manufacturing environments
Perform other assignments as directed by supervision and leadership
Required:
Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
One (1) year of Maintenance Mechanic experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Desired:
Three (3) years of Maintenance Mechanic experience
Must be able to pass the required 3M test battery
Professional certifications, military background and an AS degree
This position may require working overtime, weekends, holidays as needed
