Job Overview
POSITION SCOPE AND PURPOSE: Responsible for conducting preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on all electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Conducting or assisting with required repairs on production or process equipment and general facility maintenance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Conduct preventative maintenance on all electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
Troubleshooting and repairs of both common and complex problems within scope of knowledge on all electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
Perform building maintenance and repairs.
Regular attendance and professionalism.
OTHER POSITION DUTIES:
Properly execute all required paperwork, machine logs and computer data entry required to maintain business systems and traceability of work
Maintain adequate stock of parts and supplies by communicating need to restock and following inventory management systems
Maintain toolbox with adequate tools to perform essential functions of position.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years maintenance mechanic experience in injection molding.
Associates Degree or 2 Year Technical College Degree preferred.
Ability to read hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic prints and diagrams.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Ability to work for extended periods sitting and looking at computer while completing repetitive motions to include substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; reviewing detailed information; viewing a computer terminal; and expansive reading.
The ability to manage a number of projects at one time with frequent interruptions and tight deadlines.
Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Fingering, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, and Hearing.
