MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
Lebanon Meat Plant - Lebanon, IN
Full Time / Non-Exempt Position
Typical Hours 11:00pm to 7:30am - 3rd Shift
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will maintain and repair production equipment daily and keep up on general upkeep of the facility to create a smooth and efficient operation working within USDA, OSHA, and White Castle requirements and standards.
Required Specialized or Technical Knowledge/Experience
Previous experience and/or education in the following areas: refrigeration, electrical, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, high pressure pumps, air compressors and welding.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Must supply own basic hand tools.
Ability to wear a respirator.
Essential Functions
Perform maintenance of all operating equipment.
Repair or complete equipment repair as assigned.
Assemble or break down equipment as needed.
Maintain the refrigeration system of the facility.
Maintain high pressure pumps and air compressors.
Sharpen grinder plates.
Welding, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, endmill and lathe work may be required.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Physical Effort
Bending, turning, twisting, climbing, stooping, standing and lifting of objects up to 100 lbs.
May require use of respirators.
