Job Description

Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment in compliance with departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contemporaneous good manufacturing practices (cGMPs).

Must be able to work all shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment in completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operations; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.

• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, establishing personal network.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Completes any other duties/responsibilities assigned by senior management.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 3 years in Maintenance experience

• 1 year in area of expertise (e.g. Electronics, Electricity, Refrigeration, Machinist, Machine Repair, Millwright)

• Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility or regulated environment strong desired.
