Job Title: Maintenance Lead

Location: Melrose Park, IL

Job type and Duration: Direct

Salary: 70-79k

Looking for someone with strong leadership skills who is a well rounded maintenance technician with strong electrical and mechanical abilities.

Responsibilities

Must have at least 2 years' experience supervising and leading a team

At least 3 years' experience working in an industrial field and as a plus years of completed technical school

Experience working with Plastic Thermoforming and/or Extrusion processes

Job Qualifications

Ability to provide outstanding Safety, Performance and Attendance

Must possess strong leadership skills

Need to be open to any shift to jump in and assist

Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays as required.

Willingness to help on any shift and rotate through on-call schedule when busy

Must have own Mechanic tools

Valid driver's license and company certification required; training provided

Welding experience a plus

Forklift experience a plus

Good performance, safety and attendance records

Basic computer skills and great interpersonal skills

Possible daily lifting of up to 40 lbs.

Must be able to safely operate forklifts and man lifts as required

Knowledge with the following:

SAP and Microsoft Office is a plus

This is a working Lead position

Manage & Drive the Preventative Maintenance Program

Support & follow the Process Safety Management Program elements

Schedule resources to complete scheduled inspections & component replacement plans, as required

Completion of required documentation to meet Safety, Environmental and Production system elements

Responsible for education & training, and leadership of up to 15 employees and their daily work assignments

Lead & supervise the parts crib stocking and storage strategy to meet the goals of our MRO inventory reduction plan

Directly overseeing plant start-up and shutdown procedures to save energy and prevent machine wear
