Position Summary
As a Maintenance Electrician, you are responsible for the preventative electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical equipment in the factory. You will follow plant sanitation practices and procedures while staying informed of new technology and equipment as it pertains to plant operations. Working in a safe manner at all times, you will play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across the plant. Our maintenance work includes both predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Properly use maintenance equipment including hand tools, lifts, threaders, benders, drills and welding equipment.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain switch gears, control wiring and components, overcurrent and overload protection for plant motors including three phase systems.
• Design, program and troubleshoot plant PLCs, VFDs, input/output devices and associated equipment.
• Read, update, and create electrical prints and documentation.
• Properly install conduit, raceways, fittings, etc.
• Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
• Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment.
• All other duties as assigned.
• MUST BE OPEN TO ALL SHIFTS.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years' industrial electronics or electrical related experience required, OR 2 Year Technical Degree / Apprenticeship required.
