What will you do as a Director of Maintenance
Oversee all full and part-time maintenance staff and the daily operations of the maintenance department.
Review written maintenance requests and coordinate routine maintenance of grounds.
Conduct daily tours of the facility for safety surveillance to monitor potentially unsafe work areas, equipment and practices and ensure compliance of Life Safety regulations governing the skilled nursing facilities.
Use your knowledge and skills of plumbing, electrical, roofing and carpentry in the implementation of repair projects and preventive maintenance schedules.
What you need as a Director of Maintenance
Previous management experience
Previous maintenance experience in a long term care facility
