A vital team member in the Maintenance Department, the Maintenance Control Technician is our go-to role for wiring, plumbing, electrical/mechanical maintenance repair and installation for our facility equipment. A trouble shooter at heart, you also monitor and maintain a variety of other systems including motors, drive, electrical circuits, pressure and temperature transmitters, and the like. You relish understanding new equipment and enjoy helping install and optimize it for our production operation. A strong communicator and team player, you have a key role in providing training and technical support to the maintenance team in your areas of expertise.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES

Associates degree or equivalent in maintenance and controls. 2-5 years of prior maintenance and/or engineering experience in a manufacturing setting. Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC, HMI and VED hardware.

Knowledge of proper maintenance techniques and mechanical set up of equipment.

Good mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical machine maintenance.

Strong communication skills

Good computer skills. Ability to perform heavy physical work, exercising up to 100 pounds of strength occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Required: Associates degree or equivalent in maintenance and controls. 2-5 years of prior maintenance and/or engineering experience in a manufacturing setting. Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC, HMI and VED hardware.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in engineering field, with five or more years of manufacturing and supervisory management experience, preferably in a food industry.
