Summary
The Lot Porter position supports the service department function by transporting vehicles and maintaining the service area. The Lot Porter is responsible for driving vehicles to/from the service drive, service bays and parking lots.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for safely driving customer vehicles from service drive, service bays and parking lots.
Assist with customer return and delivery of serviced vehicles.
Assist service advisors in making key tags for incoming vehicles.
Maintain overall cleanliness of the service department.
Empty and clean all trash receptacles, inside and out.
Remove old scrap parts from the shop.
Clean oil storage tanks, drains and disposes of oil filters.
Assist technicians with oil and water spills and emptying drain tubs.
Runs errands as directed by department management.
Meet customer service standards by achieving 'above district' customer service information "CSI" scores.
Follow established safety protocols; report any shop equipment in improper working condition; immediately report safety incidents.
Understand, keep informed of, and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know.
Safeguard dealership assets and customer data.
Complete required training assigned through the company training portal.
Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold Foundation Automotive brand.

Qualifications
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Successful completion of pre-employment screening
Authorization to work in the USA
