Job Title: Longwall Shield Operator Grade: $33.00/hour Job Location: Sentinel/Leer South Mining Complex (Philippi, WV) RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Operate all functions on Shield Responsible for maintenance on the face Responsible for maintenance on the Shield Assist Shearer operator with maintenance on Shearer Ability to position roof supports MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of High School diploma or GED equivalent Minimum of three years of underground mining experience Experience as a production operator in Longwall coal mining Demonstrated ability to follow safe work procedures and inspection procedures Excellent interpersonal skills Record of good work attendance and punctuality WV underground certification required POSITION WILL REPORT TO: Longwall Coordinator Arch Resources, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
