Log Yard Coordinator Summary
Baillie Lumber in Williamsport, PA is hiring a Log Yard Coordinator. This position's main responsibility will consist of coordinating the day to day operations of the Log Yard. This is an excellent opportunity to join a world class lumber organization.
Log Yard Coordinator Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all activity in a busy log yard
Responsible for log inventory, log rotation, log sorting, managing the efficient flow of logs necessary to meet log yard production demands and goals
Constant communication with the log procurement team, traffic department, trucking companies, and log customers
Maximize yard efficiency
Scaling and grading logs as they come into the yard ensuring correct quality for all log customers
Lead safety performance by operating at the highest standards of safety
Log Yard Coordinator Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years a Log Yard/Industrial setting
Strong commitment to safety
Strong computer skills and ability to pick up new technology as needed
Experience supervising and leading operational teams
SAP Experience preferred but not required
Log Yard Coordinator Pay & Benefits:
Competitive Pay - $45k+ DOE
Full Time Hours
Overtime Hours and Pay
