Job Overview

Job Summary
The Locksmith position will lead the residential locksmith service program within the Phoenix, Arizona market.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Schedule appointments with customer to replace front door locks with electronic locks
• Walk through the consumer sign up process of the electronic lock
• Respond quickly to consumers' needs on emergency basis within their dedicated shift schedule
• Support all consumers needs for all locksmith services that pertain outside of the normal In-Home program
• Expanded role into automotive locksmith may be required

Essential Job Functions
1. Manage progress and performance of all locksmith incoming jobs
2. Ability to mechanically remove a residential lock using picking and/or drilling skillsets
3. Willingness to expand knowledge of locksmithing to include Automotive or other similar locksmith opportunities

Employees are expected and encouraged to participate in safety and health program activities including immediately reporting hazards, immediately reporting unsafe work practices and incidents to supervisors, wearing required personal protective equipment, and participating in and supporting safety committee activities.

Education & Experience
• Minimum 2 years of Locksmith experience
• ALOA certification a plus, but not necessary
• nowledge of residential/commercial hardware and installation
• Ability to drill and prep door for new hardware installation
• Ability to problem solve and retrofit existing door prep for new hardware
• Rekeying knowledge and experience
• Proficient picking skills
• Knowledge of alternative entry methods
• Ability to defeat failed locks for replacement
• Vehicle entry
• Knowledge of car key generation
• Transponder programming knowledge
• Experience and knowledge of key cutting equipment
• Detail oriented
• Takes pride in work
• Team playerStrong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
