Responsibilities As directed and guided by the General Manager the responsibilites of the position include: Responsible for safely operating assigned equipment Must inspect assigned equipment prior to operation on a daily basis and submit Daily Equipment Checklist to Shop Foreman Must immediately notify Shop Foreman of equipment issues that affect life, safety and equipment performance Aware of the operational limits and specifications of equipment to which they are assigned, practice good safety habits and housekeeping Follow instructions Judge distances and slopes accurately Other duties as assigned Qualifications At least 2 years of similar experience Ability to work in dusty or dirty surroundings Must meet physical requirements (stoop, bend, crouch, use hands/arms/legs fully, lift up to 50 lbs with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds) Ability to work at heights at times
