Job Overview
O'Neill Service Group, LLC (OSG), an Atlas company, is seeking experienced Light Rail Inspectors for the following locations:
- Federal Way Area
- Redmond Area
- Lynwood Area
OSG is a leading provider of Quality Assurance and Environmental Solutions on the heavy-civil, rail development and expansive economically critical thoroughfare projects shaping our region. Our experienced team of more than 90 Environmental Scientists, Engineers, Inspectors, and Testers work collaboratively to support our clients from design and permitting to construction and commissioning. OSG prides itself on being a small local firm that values its employees, while also providing job security through a strong backlog of work and large firm resources.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect Direct Fixation track construction
- Inspect Ballasted track construction
- Inspect special rail elements including crossovers, road crossing, bridges, and other closely related rail elements during track construction.
- Complete daily inspection reports the day of inspection.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of rail, construction and inspection experience or combination off.
- Experience with ballasted, embedded, and special track construction, as it relates to inspection, and testing services.
- Strong in written, communication, time management and organizational skills
- Experience with computer applications such as Blue Beam, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience on civil and transportation projects within the Puget Sound area
- Experience with one or more of these clients: WSDOT, Sound Transit, City of Seattle, Port of Seattle, King County, BNSF or other heavy rail owners.
