Caltrol is Hiring a Lifecycle Services Technician in Benicia, CA!
Caltrol is looking for a full-time service technician to join our team. You will provide field repair and shop services for valves, actuators, and general valve instrumentation. Our ideal candidate is a high energy, self-starter who also has a background in process controls.

Primary Responsibilities:
Repairs valves, actuators and instrumentation in the Caltrol Shop.
Ability and willingness to perform some field labor
Perform Shipping & Receiving functions for Valves and Valve Parts for the Caltrol Valve Shop.
Caltrol Valve Shop inventory management
Local customer pick-up and delivery services for valves
Maintenance of Caltrol Valve Shop and Equipment
Stays current on all training, classes and certifications needed to access customer facilities
Skills:
Strong Customer Service skills
Verbal and written skills to effectively communicate
Ability to understand and safely use standard hand tools
Required:
3 - 5 years of experience as a field service technician, instrumentation technician, and/or demonstration of general electrical/mechanical competency.
Ability to read and interpret written work instructions, P&IDs, and technical manuals.
Ability to evaluate technical data
Experience with Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Management
Strong mechanical knowledge
Strong knowledge of valve actuators, Pneumatic actuators, and Hydraulic actuators
Must be able to travel, and work in confined spaces or on elevated platforms
Must have valid Driver's License and ability to safely operate company vehicles
Preferred:
Basic Valve Machining and Welding experience
Experience with field jobs
Experience with managing a service shop
