As a furniture mover, you are responsible for providing the highest standard in service delivery while carefully managing client assets. While on-site, you must maintain a professional demeanor and communicate with your teammates effectively.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide outstanding customer service as you carefully manage client assets to/from locations
Go out of your way to be extra friendly (smile, eye contact, and small-talk) to everyone whom you come in contact with throughout the day - especially your clients.
Greet client and assist lead with project setup/planning
Assist in receiving/handing client assets in warehouse if needed
Assist lead with paperwork and deliveries throughout the day
Communicate professionally in English, both verbally & written
Spanish or Other languages is a PLUS
Work hard to safely remove items from clients' homes, offices, and buildings.
Assist with maneuvering the truck, backing up, completing paperwork, and navigating the job sites and disposal sites.
Keep track of all truck contents (tools, clipboards, paperwork, and safety equipment).
Distribute marketing material daily.
Clean the truck at the end of the day.
Complete Daily Checklists.
Train to become a Captain or possibly advance to Sr. Captain.

Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent
Punctual
Must be 18 or older
Prior moving, furniture delivery, and/or warehouse work is as PLUS
Valid driver's license with clean driving record. CDL and D.O.T is a huge PLUS
Excellent customer service skills
Team player attitude
Professional & clean-cut appearance
Demonstrated logic, reasoning & analytical skills
Ability & agility to lift heavy items (80 lbs or more) on a regular basis as well as standing, walking, stooping, etc.
Willingness & ability to complete and pass a criminal and driving background check prior to employment.
