About the Job:
Thermal Truck and RV, Inc. has been in business in the Coachella Valley for over 25 years servicing and repairing Motorhomes, Generators, Heavy Duty Trucks and vehicles and various types of Heavy Equipment. We provide both mobile and in shop services.
We have an immediate opening for an experienced diesel mechanic who possesses a basic knowledge of light to medium duty gas and diesel engines. RV experience a plus! Familiarity with Cummins, Cat, Detroit, Onan generators a plus. This person must be highly motivated and organized and possess a strong independent work ethic.
Requirements:
1.Ability to troubleshoot and repair diesel and chassis issues.
2.Must be at least 18 years of age.
3.Must possess valid drivers license and clean driving record.
4.Strong oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to read technical manuals.
5.Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and written and have the ability to read and understand English.
6.Strong customer service skills.
7.Have own tools
8.Must have clean DMV
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of duties which consist of working in shop and/or going from site to site in company provided vehicle. Will be required to adhere to a an appointment schedule and complete repairs in a timely manner without compromising quality. Typical work involves repairs on RV's both diesel and gas along with generators and large equipment. Major and minor diesel repairs such as clutch, brakes, engine overhaul etc.
