We are looking for a motivated Lead Automotive Mechanic to join a safe and stable team of vehicle and customer service professionals. Duties of the Lead Auto Tech include servicing vehicles and engaging with customers. The ideal candidate should have automotive repair experience or training. If you have previous experience as a mechanic or auto tech on or off the job, we'd like to meet you.
Ultimately, a successful Auto Technician will combine their interest in automotive and customer service with our commitment to supporting your career advancement in being a world class automotive technician.
Responsibilities:
Change oil, transmission fluid and filters
Install batteries and checks electrical systems
Tire maintenance
Install parts
Road test vehicles
Requirements:
Reading, writing and math skills
Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles
Must have a minimum 5 years of automotive repair experience, completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment
A.S.E. certification in at least 5 (five) of A1-A8 (L1 can be one of the five) is required. (New hires with external similar qualifications/certifications will have up to 2 years of employment to comply)
Maintains Federal, State and Local certification/license where applicable
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people

We accept equivalent qualifications or training certifications. New team members without A.S.E. certifications will have up to 2 years of employment to gain them with our support. A.S.E certification in at least one of A1-A8 is preferred but not required.
