ThrivingGardens Landscape Gardeners and Naturalists perform a range of general maintenance duties to ensure the garden environment is thriving by keeping it nourished and clean. Each day we commit to finishing strong. We add new, and maintain, the beauty of previously planted plants. We act as complete general caretakers of outdoor grounds. This includes the establishment of Annuals, Perennials, Shrubs, Hedges and Trees in a garden. We perform a range of gardening tasks including designing, creating, producing, maintaining, renewing and preserving outside spaces. Our Gardeners work on local properties that include fine estates and homes, personal property, condominium complexes, land trusts, universities and public spaces. We do a lot of digging and raking. Our duties include planting, weeding, mulching, trimming and watering. We provide all the general services necessary to the upkeep and appearance of outside grounds, gardens and outside buildings. Each season presents new opportunity to apply special skills in plant management and holiday decoration. Trimming trees, providing lawn care and autumn leaf management are responsibilities. We train gardeners to be naturalists. Setting seasonal annual flowering plants and planting bulbs and tubers means we are often on our knees. Applying natural and organic care often means getting "up and close". Always dirty, frequently wet; we are often digging or lifting heavy materials.
