Wanted: Master Gardener with a floral fascination to enhance our beautiful grounds and garden displays. Join a crew of planting pros that make it their mission to meticulously maintain the landscaping across Uline's facilities.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM
Position Responsibilities
Maintain grounds of Uline's Toronto / Milton campus, including mowing, weeding, fertilizing, planting, pruning, watering, pest / disease control and keeping grounds free of trash and debris.
Design and replace seasonal plantings / arrangements, including holiday light installation.
Maintain general and technical knowledge of irrigation, pond and prairie maintenance.
Ensure snow and ice are removed from building walkways and parking areas. Apply sand and salt.
Manage vendor contracts, track budgets / invoices, deliveries, planting and removal of all seasonal plant material.
Perform landscape audits and write corresponding reports.
Inspect and ensure landscape equipment is in safe operating condition.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Working knowledge of lawn equipment.
3 - 5 years' experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance.
Proficiently identify plants, trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, weeds, plant material, etc.
Ability to lift and or move up to 70 lbs.
