SUMMARY:
York Building Products is looking for a laborer to perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving material. Assists a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Operate assigned equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Understand and follow all Federal, State, Local, and Corporate safety regulations and policies
Climb ladders, reaching overhead, bending, pulling on wrenches, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Maintain a clean working environment.
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Ability to work extended hours as needed
Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work outside in all types of weather
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:
Capable of climbing a ladder, reaching overhead, bending, pulling on wrenches, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Capable of working at height and in confined spaces
Capable of shoveling wet, sticky, material for extended periods of time
