The Opportunity:
We are seeking an innovative, Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing, trail blazing team of engineers.
In this Role, You Will:
- Mechanical designing of components
- Create Solidworks assemblies, parts and manufacturing drawings
- Create BOM and product descriptions
- Work with the team to help design, setup, and run practical experiments
- Create work instructions for manufacturing use
- Experience in: part design, process design, bringing parts and/or assemblies from concept to production.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 1+ years of work experience
- Experience, with examples of utilizing math, physics, statics, and dynamics in the creation of parts, designs, or assemblies
- Experience, with examples of creative solutions to a specified problem.
- Strong 3D CAD experience with Solidworks (parts, assemblies, drawings. BOM) is a must
- Design for manufacturing experience
- GD&T and assembly tolerance stack-up analysis experience
- Hands on experience with mechanical component assembly
- Familiarity with PDM (Product data management) system
- Understanding of designs and operations as it pertains to the Automat-ability of those designs
- Furniture design experience is a plus
- Prefab building industry experience is a plus
- Experience with taking ideas from parts to completed and produced products,
