Partner with the best

To drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation. Select suppliers through qualification processes. Own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards. Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. This position requires thorough understanding, application and mastery of approaches, theories, methodologies, and application in a concrete organizational context.

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading activities focusing on supplier qualification, non-conformance management, supplier surveillance and quality initiatives consistent and adhering to, sourcing procedures and requirements
  • Monitoring and driving Cost of Quality (COQ) reduction within the business for supplier related defects
  • Monitoring supplier performance, and drive root-cause analyses, corrective actions, and process improvements.
  • Driving continuous improvement of supplier's quality performance through Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma principles and methodology.
  • Working effectively with sourcing, project management, engineering, and manufacturing teams to deliver solutions for supplier quality improvement
  • Providing technical guidance to suppliers to ensure product/process compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, Bently Nevada quality requirements, and customer flow-down requirements.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Have working knowledge of Quality tools, lean concepts and root cause analysis including CAPA
  • Have organizational, project management and process improvement skills
  • Be an experienced problem solver, with an analytical and methodical approach to solving complex quality issues in a fast-paced pressured environment
