We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with residential construction experience to join our team in the Harrisburg PA area. As a project manager with Post Road Management, you will handle residential construction projects located between Reading, Harrisburg, and York PA areas. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage and maintain an ongoing project checklist, manage the properties' scope of work, understand priority projects, timing, budgets, the ordering process. The project manager will be responsible for hiring qualified contractors and be able to communicate effectively and promptly. As a project manager, you will be required to respond and be on active duty in case of emergencies. Job Requirements: 3 years' experience in the construction of residential, commercial properties, Project management experience in construction Excellent organizational skills Communication skills Managerial skills Ability to move projects along and meet all deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel is required A vehicle and a valid driver's license in good standing is required Responsibilities are not limited to: Managing the day to day operations of active projects, while maintaining project budgets and schedules Preparing and filing applications (and other submittals, as required,) for building permits Prepare documents for solicitation of bids, de-scope bids, award contracts and oversee buyout process Preparing and maintaining detailed project schedules Deliver pricing, budget and related documentation to senior project manager Generating and administering construction contracts: conducting construction job inspections, approving requisitions, monitoring quality control, and managing contractors and suppliers. Acting as the conduit between contractors, property managers, suppliers on major projects. Working with our design team, owner's rep and director of construction to define project scope and review drawings Reviewing all technical submittals and shop drawings during the renovation Proficiency in writing scopes, bidding projects and negotiating with contractors Submit your resumes for immediate consideration.
