Construction Assistant Project Manager - New York, NY

+ Develop and control the full project-plan lifecycle

+ Generate and track project RFI's

+ Obtain and submit project submittals

+ Obtain selections from architect and client

+ Coordinate permit and sign off paperwork with compliance coordinator

+ Track open items relating to project scope, budget, and schedule

+ Coordinate project kick-off and pre-con meetings when necessary

+ Maintain budgetary, scheduling, and project database oversight, and report regularly to project manager to keep him/her constantly informed of job progress, plans and problems that could significantly affect costs or schedules

+ Assist with preparing the job start-up and close-out checklists.

+ Assist in the preparation of change proposals, change orders review

+ Contract procurement and management
