The Assistant Project manager is responsible for assisting Project Managers stages in coordinating the activities of a project to ensure the cost, schedule, document control and quality standards are maintained. Under supervision of the Quality and Productivity Manager, the Assistant Project Manager is expected to take on any/all tasks in the quest to learn.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Project Manager in all phases of projects.
Provide ongoing support to field staff if needed.
Review specific jobs and become familiar with projects.
Attend Project meetings as requested by PM.
Review Plans and documents for jobs.
Job coordination with field personnel and general contractors.
Review project logs and enter data into company database.
Traveling throughout the NY and NJ area to different jobs.
Working alongside Sr. Project Managers to develop in role

Excellent team player with ability to coordinate activities with various departments
Desire to make continued improvements to existing processes
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows based computer systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
