Waterton Construction Group, LLCAssistant Project Manager (Bilingual - English and Spanish)Job Description We are searching for a Bilingual Assistant Project Manager who will oversee assigned construction projects and to act as the link between various project parties. The Assistant Project Manager will lead and manage the on-site construction team and oversee all work on site. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for orderliness on-site and ensure compliance with safety regulations. They will ensure quality standards are met, and all equipment and materials are always available on-site. They will work with inspection authorities regarding approvals of performed work. The Assistant Project Manager will ensure that projects are completed on time within budget, and never compromise on quality. They will be strong leaders, pro-active, and perform well under pressure. Basic Job Responsibilities Work with a positive, proactive, can-do attitude Communication with Owners Representative and Project Manager (PM) Complete assigned project hand off items on time Highlight Plans with Contracted Scope of Work Initiate Staking Requests with Owner and Surveyor Call in and verify all Utility Locates Pre-Con with Owners Rep. on job site Determine where approved staging areas are with Owners Rep. Construct Mock Up's per requested selections and attain written approval from Owners Rep. Scheduling Sub-Crews Release and Confirm Receipt of PO's in CoConstruct Request Necessary Inspections in coordination with CM Request necessary Lab Testing Providing weekly and monthly progress projections to (PM) Communicate PM on monthly completions for Payment Applications (Draws) Requesting Engineering if needed after contract award Submit for & attain all required construction permits (Deliver & Pick-Up) for assigned projects Request and have Hydrant Meters installed at job site prior to construction starting Walking and Inspect each job in its entirety at least twice per week Perform Job Log Updates in CoConstruct with pictures prior to leaving job site EACH TIME (Once Daily) you are on site, regardless of how many updates have been done by others. Customer Relations Verifying Ordered Materials for Delivery Dates and Confirmation of Correct Delivery Initiate Change Orders through designated Change Order Request Process Communicate with Construction Manager (CM) daily Determine if Rental Equipment is needed with (CM) Send follow up email after phone call correspondence with Owner' Rep. Request Necessary VPO's Verify and Approve Invoices every week by the end of the designated day Proactively identify obstacles to eliminate and or minimize work stoppages Personal time management Schedule, attend, & manage necessary Site Meetings Attain safety compliance Help in Subs with Questions Read & interpret plans Inspect and ensure quality is consistently achieved with CM Create, manage, and & complete final punch list. Personally, verifying all items are complete
