The ideal candidate will be comfortable generating frequent financial reports for senior management. They should track financial information in a well-organized manner and assist the CFO in all aspects related to finance at the organization. This candidate should be comfortable analyzing balance sheets in order to forecast revenue and keep track of accounts payable and receivable.


  • Work Directly with CFO on projects and tasks as needed
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and leger maintenance - reconciling account Balance sheet, P&L balances, lease schedule, fixed asset schedule
  • Maintain general ledger and preparing month end close procedures such as recording monthly (accrued) journal entries to assist CFO to prepare monthly financial statements
  • Assist CFO with financial, workers comp and union audits
  • Assist CFO and CPA with bi-annual financial audits
  • Knowledge of percentage completion accounting and WIP reporting
  • Knowledge of Certified Payroll Reporting
  • A/R collection calls to clients
  • Coordinate and set up bank transfers, wire and ACH payments for payroll, vendors, bank institutions
  • Review daily incoming deposits from customers and deposit customer checks electronically that come in the mail
  • Prepare a daily cash report
  • Process all Corporate/Office related payables (i.e. monthly insurance premiums/rent)
  • Process monthly Sales Tax Filings
  • Process weekly payroll upload into General Ledger


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Required
  • 5+ Years' Experience - Full Time
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
  • MUST have Experience with Construction/Job Costing
  • Experience with computerized accounting program Timberline
