Job Summary

Lead accounting department in providing accurate, quality and timely information, execution of transactions and financial reporting of company operations that assists in decision-making. Responsible for control and security of all company assets and inventory.The ideal candidate will assist in all areas of marketing lead generation and marketing support.

Required Experiences & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting,required
  • Must be advanced in Microsoft Excel,required
  • Minimum of 5 total years in corporate accounting,required
  • Manufacturing experience,required
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or senior role,plus
  • Cost accounting experience,plus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Analytical, creative and collaborative problem solver

Responsibilities & Essential Duties:

Financial Reporting

  • Execute monthly and annual closing and reporting activities accordance with GAAP and internal standards
  • Complete Account Reconciliations to validate the completeness and integrity of financial statements and accruals

Accounting and Accounting Processes

  • Accurate and timely execution of all daily accounting transactions and journal entries
  • Implement, execute and evolve best practices for accounting and customer credit
  • Maintain and evolve proper internal controls

Management of Company Assets

· Oversee all aspects of cash management and processing

  • Customer credit and collection of accounts receivable

· Capital asset documentation and depreciation

  • Valuation and accuracy of inventory verified through full counting

Human Resources Administration

  • Bi-weekly employee payroll and annual compliance
  • Employee benefits and renewals
  • Employee record and database management
  • HR documentation preparation and responding to HR inquiries
  • Other HR events including sourcing candidates, employee onboarding and offboarding

Other Responsibilities:

  • Responsive to all company personnel, customers and vendors in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Project positive and professional behavior / attitude
  • Follow administrative procedures established for inter / intradepartmental interaction.
  • Additional tasks, duties and special projects may be assigned, as necessary
