Days are Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. Nights are Monday-Friday 6:00pm-2:00am. Potential for on-call time depending on need. --1 hour of weekend work per month, in rotation with fellow crew members. Requirements: --Valid driver's license. This is a driving position; only licensed drivers who will drive a route will be hired for this position. --A reliable janitorial crew member who services buildings on NAS Whidbey. --Prior janitorial/custodial experience preferred but not required Main Responsibilities: --Driving to various locations according to specified route. --Cleaning and detailing facilities: trash removal, dusting, wipe downs, sanitation, restroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, stocking supplies as needed. Main Physical Requirements: --Ability to endure up to 7 hours a day of standing, walking, and stair-climbing. --Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. --Must be able to reach, kneel, walk, stand and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time.
