Job Overview
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Work Week:1) Monday, 2) Tuesday, 3) Wednesday, 4) Thursday, 5) Friday
Primary Responsibility: Keeps warehouse in clean and orderly condition. Tends dock areas, freezer areas, and associate break areas. Ensures sanitation of these work areas.
Essential Functions:
- Clean warehouse with hand brooms, power scrubbers, sweepers and vacuum cleaners to meet - company standards.
- Remove all refuse from building and office daily, ensuring that trashcans are empty and clean.
- Clean break rooms and work areas.
- Repair damage to pallets.
- Relocate, move and adjust office furniture as necessary.
- Ensure that pest control systems are operating effectively and report any problems to supervisor.
- Remove ice and snow from pedestrian walkways and parking lots as seasonally required.
- Keep company grounds free of litter and debris.
- Work safely. Report hazards to shift supervisor.
- Wash and/or sweep insides of trailers and/or railcars.
- Other duties as requested.
Experience and Skills:
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) plus three months related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
- Ability to solve routine problems
- Ability to understand safety rules, procedure manuals, and diagrams
