JOB SUMMARY:

Full Time work schedule will be determined to best suit the needs of the Agency. Perform routine janitorial tasks. Responsible for the overall cleanliness and upkeep of facility and grounds.

Requirements:

WORK EXPERIENCE/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED. Minimum one-year previous janitorial experience preferred.

Must be able to read, write and speak English. A valid driver's license and dependable transportation required. Vehicle insurance must be maintained. Must meet eligibility requirements for Hubbard House, Inc. vehicle insurance coverage. Must be able to produce proof of eligibility to work in the United States (E-Verify).

Due to the serious nature of our mission, applicants chosen to move forward in the hiring process must submit to the following: 1) a level-2 background screening which includes a criminal background check through the Department of Family and Children (DCF), Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), and the National Sex Offender Registry (at a minimum); 2) a motor vehicle report (MVR) is also run against the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV); and 3) a drug, alcohol, and TB screening.

Experience in one or more of the following is a plus: sexual assault, domestic violence programs, bi-lingual.
