We are looking for a janitor/custodian to perform general cleaning and sanitation responsibilities for our growing facility. Our ideal candidate should be independent, quality-minded and able to work without direct supervision.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning of restrooms, break room and locker rooms.
Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, loading/unloading dishwasher, restroom cleaning etc)
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Stock and maintain supply rooms
Cooperate with the rest of the staff
Follow all health and safety regulations
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED preferred
Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies
Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally
Must be able to do physical work (stand, bend, twist, kneel) and reach and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations
Attention to detail
Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
Ability to demonstrate professionalism
Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team
Knowledge of cleaning supplies and chemicals
