Job Overview

Overview

The IWS Engineer shall have skills in system design, configuration, integration and implementation of process control solutions for the semiconductor industry. The candidate must have knowledge of Wastewater applications, installation and commissioning. The candidate must have facilities management expertise in all of the following project phases: implementation (sustaining and construction), system integration, testing and on-site startup.

In this position, you will be a senior technical engineering individual contributor responsible to provide leadership for Corporate Services CS Facilities Ultra-Pure Water UPW/and Industrial Waste Systems system technology development and operations. Additionally to oversee sustain improve and develop new processes for the site UPW & IWS systems as well as communicate and work with our site Customers. The TD Facilities Engineer is expected to focus on identifying opportunities to improve existing system efficiency and effectiveness also is expected to search for new technology strategies and processes to bring the system to the next level of effectiveness and efficiency for factory support.

Specific Task Requirements

  • The Facilities UPW TD Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:
      • Responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives in safety quality and/or reliability across all UPW and IWS.
      • Develop research and deploy UPW and IWS technology and systems to meet customers' needs and factory operations.
      • May be required to support construction projects for cost efficiencies reliability improvements or capacity upgrades to meet customer needs.
      • May be responsible for system parameter trend reviews and weekly PCSA Process Control Systems Analysis review to check the health of systems.
      • Read and interpret design drawings and specifications.
      • May be responsible for explaining all alarms generated as well as nonstandard trending on their systems during morning pass down daily operations meetings and weekly engineering operations meetings.
      • Engineers are expected to use the Model-Based Problem Solving MBPS technique and After Action Reviews AAR for evaluating root cause and contributing factors.
      • Maintain in the field presence and leadership.
      • The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:
      • Communicate strategic and tactical concepts across a wide range of employees engineering peers to operational technicians to management.
      • Problem-solving skills and demonstrate the application of structured problem-solving methods and tools.
      • Written and oral communication skills.
      • Highly effective team player.
      • Qualifications:
        • At a Bachelor's level, the candidate must have a minimum of 20 years of experience.
        • At a Master's degree, level the candidate must have a minimum of 15 years of experience.
        • At a Ph.D. degree level, the candidate must have a minimum of 15 year of experience.
    • You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      The candidate must possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering or another equivalent Engineering degree.

      • The candidate must have experience in all of the following:
        • Facilities water systems maintenance.
        • Chemical and/or mechanical engineering principles including chemical piping neutralization, filtration, pumps valves, flow calculations, and chemical analytical testing.
        • Application of engineering principles and technical problem-solving.
    • Preferred Qualifications:

      • PE Registration or EIT certification is highly desired
    • PM20
