EquipmentShare is searching for student interns to join the training team at our Home Office in Columbia Mo during the summer of 2023 (June - August).

Responsibilities
  • Gain experience shooting and editing video as well as supplemental content for specific communication projects within EquipmentShare.
  • Work closely with the EquipmentShare Corporate Training team in the development of video, interactive courses, and other multimedia content for training purposes.
  • Develop interactive and video-based eLearning content with rapid authoring tools.
  • Utilize video, and interactive active authoring tools (e.g. Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects Articulate 360, Articulate Storyline, RISE, Captivate).
  • Shoot and edit photos, video, audio, and other content as needed.
  • Assist in creating training content in accordance with EquipmentShare's vision, mission, and values.
  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships with internal departments and rental markets across the organization.

What You're Working With
  • Working towards a bachelor's degree in either Video Production, Mass Communication, Instructional Design, Digital Storytelling, Training & Development, Education, Technical Communication or related field required.
  • Experience with video design, including writing storyboards and scripts
  • Coursework completed in either Media Production, eLearning, Training, or Curriculum Development.
  • Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline and/or other content authoring tools such as Captivate, Camtasia, Engage, Presenter.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with a variety of digital training platforms and methods.
  • Working knowledge of Mac OS.
  • Working knowledge of G-Suite (Docs, Folders, etc), & Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change in a positive manner.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds of production equipment
  • Must possess a valid drivers license.
