Overview / Responsibilities

Wood currently has an opportunity for an Interface Manager to join our construction team near Gogama, ON.

This position is a fly-in/fly-out work rotation (14 x 14 -12 hours per day).

Responsibilities:

• Develop and Manage the Interface Management Plan to be used as a tool to liaise between the main departments (engineering, supply chain and construction)
• Facilitate information flow between engineering, supply chain and construction ensuring all parties are aligned and incorporate latest information into their workplans
• Ensure interfaces are identified and documented
• Identify, administer, and manage all Required on Site material and equipment dates for this project
• Act as liaison (point of contact) between engineering, supply chain, planning team, construction, and all key contractors on this project ensuring all communication between these parties are administered and managed properly
• Chair key meetings related to expected delivery dates/deadlines between all associated parties (engineering, supply chain, construction)
• Responsible for interface documents, tasks, meetings, and reports

Skills / Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of multi-discipline service contract experience on large scale, heavy industrial projects in an EPC/EPCM environment.
• Engineering Degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership position
• Ability to manage and influence without authority
• Ability to read and interpret schedules, plans and specifications
• Excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent Technical communications skills written and spoken
• Authorized to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood
