Job description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this commerical cold storage facility two locations NW Arkansas & Dallas/Ft Worth area Texas. Candidate can reside in either location.

Diagnoses and repairs the cause of instrument andcontrolsystem malfunctions including transmitters, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), plant or distributedcontrolsystems, instrument loops, pressure transducers, temperature probes, level probes, repair electrical systemscontrolmalfunctions of equipment such as transformers, relays, switches andcontrolsystems, medium and high voltage 480 voltage 3 phase distribution systems, and monitoring devices.

Conduct comprehensive analysis into electrical/instrumentation component and system issues and resolve practically and effectively.

Knowledge and competency of all applicable Electrical/Instrumentation codes and best practices.

Installs new electrical equipment as required.

Seek out most cost-effective means in completion of tasks while keeping safety at the forefront.

Provide technical input into the improvement and optimization of plant electrical/instrumentation systems and processes.

Pursue proactive measures for maintaining plant reliability.

Qualifications:

Must have experience with troubleshooting?control?circuits and motor starters.

Must be able to maintain electrical systems, equipment, and devices.

Must have working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) Opto 22 platform a Plus

Experience with/Knowledge of Instrumentation (including Level, Pressure, Temperature, I/P)

Knowledge of Instrumentation Signals (including 4-20ma, 1-5vdc, 0-10vdc, RTDs, Thermocouple, etc.)

Must be proficient at reading prints and electric schematics.

Must have knowledge of Safety Standards and NEC Code.

Ammonia Refrigeration?controls?and troubleshooting a big Plus

Understanding of I/P networking and M/S Windows PC operating systems.
