Job Summary:
This role serves as a member of the roadside maintenance organization. They will proactively and responsively deliver preventive maintenance and failure repairs.
This role provides maintenance and installation support of configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance including but not limited to:
- Linux and Windows based PCs
- Video cameras, lighting, and controllers for image collection systems
- Radio Frequency System (RFID) readers
- Vehicle Sensors such as Inductive Loops, Treadles, Optical Separators, etc.
- Local and Wide Area Network equipment
- Other task assignments, as required
Experience and Skills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position includes the following duties.
- Will monitor system performance both on-site and remotely to ensure performance is maintained and optimized within system specifications.
- Provide responsive field and remote service for all assigned equipment.
- Works on a rotation on-call schedule to ensure after-hours support.
- Completes routine preventative maintenance on all equipment as defined within the service level agreement.
Required Education and Experience
- AA degree in Electronics or equivalent Military training or a combination of training and job-related experience.
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records & criminal background check.
- Ability to work at heights up to 40 ft utilizing bucket trucks, ladders or other means.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 50lbs.
- 1-2 years maintenance experience of critical large-scale systems.
Maintenance experience in one of the following areas desired:
- Toll collection systems
- Military Electronics fields such as Avionics, Communication, etc.
- PC/Server Service
- RFID System Service
- Security and Surveillance System Service
