Who You Are
The successful Candidate will:
- Review customer bid packages and quote requests
- Specify products, assemblies and systems through our product offerings
- Generate Quotes through Quotewerks (moving to Odoo late 2022)
- Present Quotes / Proposals to customers both verbal and written
- Demonstrate a high level of competence and accuracy when creating part numbers, descriptions, BOM's, costing/pricing conditions, etc.
- Respond to customer requests, displaying a sense of enthusiasm and urgency appropriate to customer expectations
- Proactively follow up on quotations and customer information requests, directly interacting with customers
_The ideal candidate will have / be: _
- Instrumentation Engineering Technologist Diploma or a technical diploma in a related discipline from an accredited educational institution preferred (C. Tech, A.Sc.T); or equivalent industry experience
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, with a GSD (Get Stuff Done!) attitude
- Demonstrate ability to solve problems and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with clients
- Strong technical, oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards such as ASME, CSA, ISO, etc. is considered an asset
