Description:

Summary

The Inside Sales Engineer is responsible for growing the sale and the delivery of company products within their scope. You are responsible for developing new customers, cultivating, qualifying leads and closing new business. You will manage customer and partner relationships and expectations from an inside sales and customer service perspective.

Your role is critical to the organization and will prove pivotal in the continued growth of the Omega Industrial Safety product line. This position requires a self-directed, forward-thinking and energetic person who is results oriented and capable of professional and detailed follow through.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

1. Generate new qualified business opportunities through B2B outbound phone calls/emails (GDM)

2. Manage the full sales cycle to generate and close new and existing business opportunities across various distribution channels including dealer/distributor network, contractors, and end users

3. Prepare and deliver customized and engineered client solutions and quotations

4. Required to utilize CRM and ERP to manage and track sales pipeline and forecast

5. Maintain customer/prospect/lead database with outreach activities and new contacts

6. Perform research and market data analysis to assist in new product development and increased win/conversion rates

7. Develop and execute targeted and focused marketing campaigns within niche markets

8. Identify indirect sales opportunities, potential target markets, and referral partners to generate sales

9. Swiftly follow up on inbound leads generated by marketing, advertising, customer referrals and phone inquiries to exceed sales forecasts

10. Review and verify incoming customer orders to ensure accurate and efficient fulfillment

11. Perform other specific tasks as requested by the General Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing


Other Qualifications

1. Experience in a mechanical/manufacturing/industrial environment

2. 3+ years of sales experience preferred, customer service mentality

3. High work ethic with demonstrated confidence to proactively engage with customers

4. Mechanical, mathematical aptitude

5. Degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience

6. Highly motivated and innovative self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team

7. Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through and task completion

8. Willingness to pursue new or unproven ideas; ability to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing environment

9. Computer skills - Microsoft office, willing to learn to new programs

10. Working knowledge of CRM tools, preferred
