Job Overview
Ziegler CAT has an opening for an Inside Customer Support (ICSR) who will develop, promote and sell Ziegler's Product Support capabilities. The position will call on unassigned accounts and also assist regional CSRs in the coverage of their assigned account lists. Duties include campaign lead generation and follow-up, quote creation, and branch parts support among other tasks.
Responsibilities:
Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
Maintain accurate company contact information and equipment records within Ziegler systems
Research new business opportunities with non-Cat customers
Develop basic parts pricing, availability, and identifies parts value skills
Communicate regularly with other sales forces within Ziegler to maintain a common objective
Collaborate with various departments and groups during the entire sales process
Evaluate sales transactions from a dealership perspective
Provide leads to Territory Managers and CSRs
Be proactive with new product knowledge and developments that are relevant to our customers
Identify prospective customers and work with marketing and credit departments to set up new accounts in the defined territory
Build strong and positive relationships with individual customers by researching and understanding individual and business-wide needs
Promote and sell additional labor, service, and parts to both traditional and non-traditional customers
Influence and use appropriate marketing programs to meet customer needs and ensure we are maintaining growth in parts and service
Log future customer maintenance
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required; 2 or 4 year College Degree preferred
2+ years of outside sales experience in the construction field preferred
Personal Attributes: Customer Focus, Problem Solving, Learning Orientation, Planning and Organization, Sociability

Strong mechanical aptitude & familiarity of the construction industry
Clean driving record
Travel:
Up to 10% travel
Minimum Physical Requirements:
Push/pull up to 10 lbs.
Lift up to 30 lbs.
Carry up to 50 lbs.
Neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching.
