Description:

Seeking a skilled engineer to support day to day problem as well as long term projects on the injection molding equipment.

- Troubleshoot and problem solve issues with the machinery and/or process.

- Determining root cause of mechanical issues, i.e. raw material, the mold, the hot runner, temperature, cooling, process, etc .

- Run DOEs.

- Perform validations on injection molding equipment to find gaps in how they validate the injection molding equipment/process.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience working with Plastics Injection Molding equipment.

- Mechanical or Electrical background preferred, with an understanding of process.

- Experience with water temp controller, repair of equipment, tare down and build back up, resin system understanding, ability to program loads.

- Problem solving capabilities.

- 4 year degree is preferred but not required
