You will conduct troubleshooting repairs and preventative maintenance of simple and complex equipment within the Lawrence and Shawnee manufacturing facilities. RESPONSIBILITIES include: Troubleshooting equipment issues in the production environment. Repairing and installing equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical, as well as PLCs, RS Logics Software and PCs. Providing support to mechanics in the areas of fabrication, assembly, welding, burning, cutting, pipefitting, and machining. Performing machine maintenance and repair. Assisting with the set-up of production lines. Operating and maintaining production equipment. Keeping equipment clean and operational. Assumes other duties as assigned by supervisor. The successful candidate should possess prior industrial maintenance experience and have general knowledge of manufacturing processes. Experience with pneumatic machinery is preferred. You should also have the ability to operate a forklift and other equipment used in a manufacturing environment.
