Kelly Engineering is seeking a full-time temp to perm Maintenance Technician in the North Charleston, SC area. The Maintenance Technician will work independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventive, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. This role is Temp to Perm 6 Month starting with full bennefits (Health, 401K, PTO, etc) Start on 1 st shift (1 month) 2 nd 3-11pm Pay range 22-32/hr - Rate based on experience; client will consider Entry level with 1 year of experience. On day-to-day tasks troubleshoot issues Mechanical & Electrical, HVAC, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. All tasks will be performed while supporting the Company policies, goals, and objectives. Demonstrates a safety-first mindset and approach in execution of all duties Performs both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment from basic hydraulic and mechanical equipment to complex machinery + Replaces and repairs parts, rebuild equipment, align gears, shafts, pulleys and belts + Performs Preventive and Predictive maintenance on production equipment + Effectively troubleshoots failures and works in team environment to determine root causes of failure + Participates in plant shift meeting and continuous improvement activities + Sets molds in injection molding machines with assistance + Participates in a maintenance training program to improve knowledge, skills and abilities Develops skills in mechanical, electrical and HVAC field Utilizes CMMS system to manage work orders, create and review work history, and manage parts use Ensures all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities _This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch.
