We're looking for a full-time, staff Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our American Ordnance team located in Middletown, IA. As the Industrial Maintenance Technician, here's the work you'll do: Perform preventative maintenance to maintain the safe operation of all site x-ray systems (radiographic, digital, industrial). Work with x-ray systems that produce up to 48k volts DC. Install and setup of x-ray systems (radiographic, digital, and industrial, chillers) including specialized test equipment, component selection, layouts and numerical controls. Apply theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, math, and physics throughout setup. Coordinating repairs with X-ray and production areas in troubleshooting of x-ray systems. Work with suppliers to identify parts needed. This role is for you if you have these skills: Ability to work from wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications, and instructions in regards to installation, modification, and troubleshooting of x-ray systems. Ability to identify material/parts replacement for x-ray systems. Thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic theory. Familiarity with radiation producing equipment and radiation safety. Ability to maintain company required performance and maintenance documents. Confidence to communicate and coordinate with production areas to satisfy customer needs. And if you have these qualifications: Associate's degree in related field 4+ years maintenance and troubleshooting experience working directly with x-ray systems and electronic components in a manufacturing environment. Government secret clearance may be required. Valid drivers license and Class A or B electrical license required. Great attitude and team player. Successful completion of background screening process.
