Our client, a manufacturer of genuine wood siding, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Manager to their quickly growing team.

First Shift M-F: 5am 2 pm (typical work day is 5am 3 pm which equals 2 hours of OT daily)
Reporting to: Plant Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Run, repair, maintain, and install of machines, tools, and shop equipment in manufacturing operation


• Use Precision measuring devices (calipers/micrometer/ digital multimeter)


• Use welding machine parts correctly according to blueprints (utilizing MIG, TIG, Stick welding processes)


• Interpret electrical schematics for troubleshooting machine malfunctions (such as machine control panel work, stopping at machine disconnects, and power supply panels)


• Train new employees on proper equipment operation and PM operations


• Replace/ lace/ track conveyor belts as necessary during PM schedule


• Check equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure everything is in working order


• Repair complex mechanical components (gear box and drive components)


• Identify components and machinery in need of improvement and make recommendations for the same.


• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Formal technical training in manufacturing equipment preferred.


• Minimum 10 years machine maintenance background in a manufacturing setting.


• Ability to manage a PM program. Knowledge of (certification not required) TPM a plus.


• Must have strong welding capabilities.


• Advanced knowledge of mechanical and electrical components and how they interact as a whole assembly in the machine.


• Advanced troubleshooting skill set including using measuring devices and electrical meters along with prints to diagnose machine issues.


• Proficient with MA OSHA safety standards
