A Brief Summary of This Position:

This is an individual contributor role. The primary function of the Industrial Engineer includes reviewing production schedules, design specifications, workflows, and other information to understand and adjust site processes to make them more efficient. Incumbent most be able to develop management control systems to aid in financial planning and cost analysis, and design production planning and control systems to coordinate activities and ensure product quality. Must have a solid understanding of the siteâ s processes to make them more efficient, therefore incumbent must possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills, solid engineering skills, and be
an analytical thinker.

Essential Functions:

• This position reports to the General Manager and has no direct or indirect reports
• Provide leadership to conceptualize Lean Projects as well as lead teams for a variety of Continuous Improvement Projects
• Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify those needing improvements
• Manage production schedules and coordinate services to maximize productivity
• Enforce quality control to reduce waste
• Improve the efficiency of each production process
• Identify procedures or tools to help improve productivity

• Review production schedules, specifications, orders, and related information to learn about manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities
• Estimate production costs and the effects of product design changes on expenditures
• Must be able to recommend cost-saving measures
• Coordinate activities or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, or minimize costs

• Communicate with management and stakeholders to develop production and design standards

Other Important Details about the Role:

The Industrial Engineer must have strong technical expertise in working with engineering and design software. This position is accountable to meeting milestone dates for those projects assigned. The role requires partnership with multiple cross functional partners. The Industrial Engineer is responsible for attending technical design review meetings and providing technical design inputs and direction when needed. The Industrial Engineer must continually improve his or her knowledge of existing assemblies, keep up to date on manufacturing capabilities, and developing an awareness of the field usage of our products. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of production machinery and job-related service delivery equipment and processes.

Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

• Bachelorâ s Degree in Engineering
• Expertise in working with engineering and design software
• Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Strong technical and writing ability with experience in visually communicating concepts to customers and internal resources
• Strong mechanical and spatial aptitude with the ability to understand the physical requirements of a product concept
• Demonstrates the ability to adapt designs aesthetically and proportionally
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project)
• Strong working knowledge of 3D Computer-Aided Design Software

• Travel up to 10% of the time. May include international travel.
• Passion and integrity with the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results

Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:

• Masterâ s Degree in Engineering
• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis
• Work experience as an Industrial Engineer
