We are currently seeking a solution oriented, forward thinking candidate to join our team.
Industrial Electrician 3rd shift: $27.02/hour (or more based on exp.)
+ $1.50 shift/$1.60 weekend differential
+$3,000 Sign on Bonus
Responsibilities Include:
Quickly assesses plant processes during a breakdown; ability to communicate with equipment operators and then apply troubleshooting skills and knowledge to fix equipment in an efficient amount of time
Testing electrical systems; (ranging from 24VDC to 480VAC 3-ph) by using multi-meters
Troubleshooting; PLC Controlled and hard-wired systems by using required 70E PPE and safe work practices
Perform insulation tests; on AC Motors with a megger
Support Robotic Control Systems; ABB robots with Siemens, Allen Bradley control systems
Understand, troubleshoot ladder logic programs
Understand and utilize High Voltage and other equipment; Microprocessor equipment, thermocouples, and RTD's
Ensure accurate completion of all necessary paperwork; including but not limited to documentation PM forms, Time log, Baan work orders, Inventory system, etc
Demonstrate an aptitude of general mechanical systems
SHIFT: 3rd shift openings available
You Must:
Demonstrate safe and proficient use of shop tools (both hand and power); candidate will be carrying various tools around campus
Possess strong Electrical, Mechanical and Analytical aptitude.
Have the ability to read blueprints and schematics
Have the ability to multi task and prioritize workload and problems
Poses strong verbal and written communication skills
Perform duties in a fast-paced work environment that will be hot, cold and dirty.
Work independent and make decisions without direct supervision
Must be at least 18 years of age and have attained a High School Diploma or GED
Have PLC troubleshooting experience
Prior experience troubleshooting robotics is a plus!
